Tbilisi State Opera Will Open In 2013

Tbilisi State Opera, built in 1887, has been temporarily closed for reconstructing works till 2013. The interior of the building, as well as facade, will be renovated. All the halls, including the grand hall, will be repainted and renovated with new details and elements. As for the big Swarovsky luster, it will be  polished and will be lifted up 10 minutes before every performance.

For now the number of performances are reduced and scheduled in other theatres’ playbills.
